Catalonia's independence
Right now, this is the most
controversial topic to talk about. It’s a really deep political question and
there are many different points of view. People may judge you by your position
within the issue; if you’re unionist you’re most likely a fascist, but if you
are a pro-independent activist you’ll be seen as someone who isn’t solidary.
That’s really problematic, because if you express an interesting position,
without taking part of any of the most famous positions, aka independentist or
unionist, you are an idiot that doesn’t have the most minimum amount of grey
matter and it’s trying to express an opinion about something that you don’t
comprehend. That’s really idiotic, actually, because in life things are never
black or white. There are different options, and all of them are respectable. I
first was a crazy independentist and I wouldn’t listen to anything else than
Catalan reports, and criticize everything else. Nowadays, I’ve grown up and I
realised that thinking different isn’t something to be ashamed of. I can
perfectly listen to different opinions in the internet- just there, TV
programmes are unwatchable, both Spanish and Catalan ones-. In fact, I find it
really funny now how a lot of people are unable to listen to a different
opinion and try to argue with it.
