News 2: "I don't like men"

In this other piece of news, the text is quite brief but the main aspect remains in a video. In this one, we can see a lawmaker who feels attacked and starts complaining when another man, in an act of trust, gets close to him and touches his arm. When this happens, the mentioned lawmaker says that he doesn’t like men and after that he orders the other man-who, by the way, is a democrat- to remove his hand from his arm.

This piece of new, besides being stupid, hides a social issue. We, men, are afraid to show closeness to our beloved friends, if they are men. If a man kisses another man in his cheeks just as he would usually do to a woman to say hello, they are probably a gay couple who’s showing their love. It’s amazing how mind-closed we sometimes are! There is nothing wrong in showing love to other men, and there is absolutely no problem if you touch another man’s arm to explain something, require his attention or any other thing from him, really. We should learn a little bit about ourselves and not concern so much about what the others would say.

How it feels to study in 2n Batxillerat

Nowadays I’m finishing the 1 st term of what has been the most difficult year for me. My marks are really high, and I’m really happy with my results. However, one thing doesn’t solve the other. It’s such a stressing year that one can only wonder:” Why?”. I mean, in our first year, first of batxillerat, the quantity of work to be done in different classes was so little that my chemistry teacher had almost finished all the explanations to be done in March. On the other hand, 2 nd of batxillerat is a really compacted year, and you have almost double the work to do, double de difficultness, and with half the time. And all of that considering that you have to present yourself into Selectivity, which is called that way because incineration of pure souls that course 2 nd batxillerat was too long. Science

I’m a science guy, and for me it’s really annoying how the education system is organized. Science is more interesting than most of people think it is. Just because you think that calculating speed of cars in a road is boring doesn’t mean relativity or quantum physics is. Only because you’ve never heard of how stem cells work doesn’t mean that the path that a blood drop does inside our body is boring. Just because you think mathematical functions are boring and that they don’t have any application it means mathematics as a whole are boring. The most important part of science topics isn’t even mentioned in secondary. That’s a shame. Last year I’ve realised that my girlfriend, who is studying in the social batxillerat, finds interesting how relativity affects our universe.
